My name is Andi Schoenbaum. My first memory of being a successful artist was at the age of 2. I painted a plaster craft lady bug. It was simple, red with black spots, as lady bugs come. As a small child, I enjoyed escaping into my coloring books and as I got a little older I started painting in oils.
The joy and satisfaction of coloring and painting whimsical forms with simplicity never escaped me. Even now, as I paint high energy abstracts and intensely detailed portraits, I find myself in my quiet time drawing simply and coloring. It takes me to a cheerful place.
Where does it take you?
